Factual error: There would not be that many leaves still on trees in December in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The snow looks very fake and sprayed on in some shots.
Why Him? (2016)
Directed by: John Hamburg
Starring: James Franco, Cedric the Entertainer, Bryan Cranston, Zoey Deutch, Megan Mullally, Tangie Ambrose
Factual error: The Fleming family flies home on a United 727. The movie is set in 2016, but United retired the last of their 727 fleet in 2003.
Audio problem: When James Franco is in the bed with the parents, there is one shot where he is not facing the camera but still talking. His mouth is moving but not matching with what he is saying.
Trivia: Director John Hamburg was James Franco's professor when Franco was attending the graduate film-making program at New York University.
Laird Mayhew: I don't know how to talk to the guy. It's like we speak two different languages or something.
Gustav: You do.
Laird Mayhew: Yeah.
Gustav: He speaks English, and you speak English with resounding amounts of "fuck."
Ned Fleming: I mean, what in God's name is a double dicker?
