Factual error: In the cardiac resuscitation scene with Brian Cranston, someone says "he's in atrial fibrillation... Give him 1 milligram of epinephrine." Wrong drug, in fact one that would very likely kill him immediately (maybe that's why he didn't make it!).
Godzilla (2014)
Directed by: Gareth Edwards
Starring: Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen
Continuity mistake: When Sam is loaded onto the school bus by his mother, her work friend 'Laura' is on the bus. Later, on the bridge, she seems to have disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When Juliette Binoche is running for her life in the tunnel near the beginning of the movie, when the running starts you can see all men run pass Juliette and then she's the last runner. There's even a shot when she's looking back at the leaking water and is last, with no-one behind her. A second later she's in the front of the running group.
Trivia: Ken Watanabe is named "Dr. Ishiro Serizawa." His first name "Ishiro" comes from the director of several previous Godzilla films, Ishiro Honda. The last name "Serizawa" is the name of the character in the 1954 original film who invents a device to kill Godzilla, Dr. Daisuke Serizawa.
Ishiro Serizawa: The arrogance of man is thinking that nature is in our control and not the other way around. Let them fight.
Dr. Ichiro Serizawa: In 1954, we awakened something.
Vivienne Graham: Those nuclear tests in the Pacific... Not tests.
Dr. Ichiro Serizawa: They were trying to kill it.
Ford: Why can't you just let her rest?
Joe Brody: Because I sent her down there.
Question: When the soldiers were skydiving into the city why did they have red flares attached to their boots?
Question: Why are they transporting entire missiles instead of just detaching the warheads (which are air portable)?
Answer: Because detaching them and reattaching them would have taken time, which they didn't have.
But, after the crash, they remove the warheads and transport them by helicopter and leave the boosters behind, as they only need the warheads.
Question: Why does the male MUTO mate with the female if she is already pregnant?
Answer: The female produces the eggs, and then the male mates with her to fertilize them. She is technically not "pregnant" until after the mating.

Answer: Due to the storm, it became difficult for the soldiers to see one another. The flares were used to help them keep track of their positions during the skydive.
