Continuity mistake: Near the end of the Claire A scenario, when Leon is encountered on the security monitor, his uniform isn't bandaged as a result of the gunshot wound he sustained from Annette.

Rob Adair

Continuity mistake: Sherry is found hiding in the art display gallery adjacent to the chief's office. However, the hallway is blocked by a wrecked helicopter, meaning it wouldn't be possible for her to get in and out. In addition, she is seen outside the STARS office early on, meaning that she couldn't have been hiding there the entire time.

Suggested correction: While it's true that the chief's office was blocked by the helicopter wreckage, we do see Sherry squeezing through small holes that would be impossible for an adult to fit through. It's very likely that she used the ventilation shafts to slip through the police department without being spotted. Even if it's not visible, there's still a good chance that Sherry used a ventilation shaft to get to the chief's office.

HyperIria

Factual error: With the special key, Claire can alter her clothes to a costume that is equipped with a Colt Single Action Army. But still she can fill it with 9mm parabellum which would be impossible.

Trivia: Originally this game was going to be completely different, it even got though around 70-80% completion before being scrapped. Robert Kendo and Marvin (the gun shop owner and dying cop, respectively) were going to be Claire and Leon's partner characters, but when the game was scrapped as it played too much like the first game, they were given substantially smaller roles, both lasting barely more than five minutes each.

Question: Is there any difference between the North American and British versions? Such as censorship.

Answer: I would say, not quite. As far as I know, the European and American versions would share mutual agreements and censorship with the content in the game. For instance, in the original RE4, if you kill an enemy by a headshot with the rifle in either the European or American version, it would show the headless enemy. In the Japanese version, you can still kill enemies by rifle shots and the enemy still has their head attached. It's just that in the Japanese version, decapitation in games is banned. If anyone can disprove me of regional changes of RE2, they're free to do so.
