Continuity mistake: When Sam is shocked at his first sight of Wentworth, he drops his sweeping brush near Wentworth's feet, but in the next shot the brush is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: When Sam is going to the widow's house, he is carrying a box of chocolates and a bunch of flowers, but when he arrives at the door, the chocolates have disappeared and the flowers are completely different.

Character mistake: When a flattened Yosemite Sam returns the flattened ball to his wife, there is a theatre across the street that uses the English spelling of "theatre" instead of the American "theater."
