Factual error: When Premier Kamenev shows Kiril a map over the Chinese-Soviet border, it shows the Korean peninsula as a part of China.
Factual error: The movie obviously takes place in the 1960s. On the map on the screen in the Politburo meeting room where it shows where the Chinese are preparing to move into the "rice bowl" countries, Thailand is shown (in Chinese) as Siam. Siam was changed to Thailand in the late 1930's.and an official map like that 30 years later wouldn't make that mistake. (00:11:26)
