Factual error: During the multiple hospital scenes, the doctors direct their updates to Will, ignoring the closest family member, her grandmother. Will's relationship with Charlotte is not even a year old. No hospitals or doctors would ever discuss this condition with anyone outside the immediate family, including and especially the Cleveland Clinic.
Autumn in New York (2000)
1 factual error - chronological order
Directed by: Joan Chen
Starring: Richard Gere, Winona Ryder, Anthony LaPaglia, Elaine Stritch
Continuity mistake: It's pretty interesting that Charlotte is supposed to be suffering from a terrible heart condition, yet whenever she's in the hospital, there's never a heart monitor anywhere around.
Will: You don't want to die! You want to live.
Charlotte: You don't think I've been through this so many times? I don't want to give people hope when there isn't any.
Will: Why not? Maybe we need hope.
