Continuity mistake: At the start the cop takes a bite from his doughnut. The camera changes and half the doughnut has gone. (00:01:00)

Continuity mistake: When he is getting coffee at the beginning, he holds the cup without putting his finger through the handle. In the next shot, he has his finger through the handle. (00:04:10)
Continuity mistake: When in the diner the girl has got the coffee pot in her left hand. When the camera changes it's in her right hand. (00:05:40)
Continuity mistake: When firing at the dead animal, the carcass starts to spin, but when Jerry says "my turn" the carcass is not spinning. (00:06:00)
Continuity mistake: Dinkum puts the ear defenders on Jerry and there is a strap from the right ear dangling. When we see the close up, the strap has disappeared. (00:06:10)
Factual error: Owens asks Dinkum for a permit. In AZ there is no requirement for a handgun permit. (00:07:00)
Continuity mistake: Ray tells one cop to clean the chunk of beef off his hat. The cop then removes his hat to discover a chunk of beef that was not visible in previous shots. (00:07:15)
Continuity mistake: Jerry is holding his nose when Ray turns up at the start. When the camera cuts his hand is nowhere near his nose. (00:07:20)
Revealing mistake: When Ray asks Dinkum for a licence, he turns his head and a white tent is visible in his glasses that is not present in the area. (00:08:05)
Revealing mistake: The film is set in Arizona. However if you look at the licence Dinkum gives Ray it states Delaware. (00:08:20)
Continuity mistake: When Mike says they have to keep Stuart locked up all weekend, Sarah has a mug in her hand that she puts down. When the camera cuts she's holding it again. (00:12:20)
Continuity mistake: When the van is being lifted onto the roof we see the driver jump out the door leaving it open. When the camera cuts to under the van, the door is now closed. (00:17:00)
Continuity mistake: When we see Jerry trying to open the window at the farm, you can see the cuts on his face from earlier have disappeared, only to return later in the film. (00:28:20)
Continuity mistake: At the first roadblock when the ZR1 calls for the SUV's, a second line of police cars appear and disappear throughout the scene. (00:34:00)
Revealing mistake: Numerous times throughout the movie, we see a dust cloud kicked up by the ZR1, as to be expected. However in some shots from in front of the ZR1 we see a dust cloud kicked up that the ZR1 drives through. This can not be the FBI helicopter as that is a fair distance behind the ZR1. Clearly from the camera van. (00:36:15)
Audio problem: When Sarah is firing her pistol in the desert we see the slide lock back. However the hammer still manages to hit the firing pin, making a click noise - that would be impossible. (00:41:20)
Continuity mistake: When Ray rings the FBI after Jerry is killed, the blood on his hand keeps appearing and disappearing. (00:48:50)
Revealing mistake: When Cortez changes gear, you can see the handbrake is applied. (00:50:30)
