The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2

Corrected entry: In New Moon, Alice says she can't see the future if wolves are involved. "I can't see past you and your pack of mutts!" (to Jacob regarding when he rescued Bella from the ocean). This is also outlined in the book, where it says that Alice can't see the future if werewolves are involved. However at the end of this movie Alice sees Jacob and Renesmee together in the future.

Correction: In the books Alice says at the very end that because she has spent more time around the wolves she is slowly starting to see them in her visions which would explain why she can see Renesmee and Jacob together in the future.

Corrected entry: In the letter from Bella to Renesmee she says Jacob can teach her Ticuna legends, but he's not Ticuna. Jacob is a member of the Quileute tribe.

Correction: Bella did not make a mistake, The Cullens learn that there may be information about half-mortal, half-vampire children within the Ticuna culture. What Bella means (and she is assuming she and the other Cullens will be killed by the Volturi) is that Jacob, as Renesmee's protector, will be able to discover more about this and can then share that with Renesmee. It will help disprove the Volturi's accusation that she is an "immortal child."

They did not know about that at the time Bella wrote the letter to Renesme. She was preparing a backpack with money and passport with the thought Jacob would be taking her somewhere mid battle. They didn't know about Tacuna tribe until the very end of battle scene.

It was mentioned earlier about the Ticuna tribes and their legends regarding immortal children, which is why Alice and Jasper went there.

Corrected entry: Bella's eyes jump from a vibrant golden yellowish color to brown back to yellow in the matter of about 3 minutes. She drops off Jacob and Renesme at Charlie's house while she runs some errands, and her eyes are a deep gold-yellow. Then she's in her car about to meet J. Jenkins and her eyes are brown. During the drive back home her eyes are golden-yellow again. (01:04:10 - 01:05:20)

Correction: That's an easy one. Earlier in the movie we've already seen her use contacts to make her eyes brown.

Garlonuss

Corrected entry: Alice couldn't see future involving half-breeds, such as Renesmee and the werewolves, so she couldn't see how Volturi would be destroyed by the Cullens and their friends, or the scene where Jacob and their grown up daughter stand near the ocean.

neft9nik

Correction: She can't see the future for werewolves because she can't see past an unmade choice, and they operate too much by instinct rather than forethought. She can't see much of Renesmee's future because of the werewolf Jacob's involvement in it, not because of Renesmee's status as a half-breed. In both of the instances cited in this mistake, however, a clear choice had already been committed to by everyone involved, so Alice was able to see the possible future outcomes.

Phixius

Corrected entry: Bella and Jacob repeatedly refer to Renesmee as Charlie's "niece". However, Charlie, being Bella's father, is actually Renesmee's grandfather. Yes, he was not told that Bella gave birth to Renesmee, but he was still told that she is Bella's daughter, so she cannot in any sense be Charlie's niece.

Brad

Correction: Charlie is told that Renesmee is Edward's niece. Under that scenario, Renesmee would technically be considered Charlie's grand-niece by Bella's marriage to Edward. They also say they "adopted" her, also making her his granddaughter. To protect Charlie from the Volturi, he cannot be told the real circumstances about Renesmee's birth, so the explanation is deliberately left rather vague. Charlie suspects there is more than he is being told, mentioning that Renesmee has Bella's eyes, but he just goes along with it.

raywest

Corrected entry: Bella has green eyes when she looks back at the scene where they go up against the Volturi, instead of red/yellow eyes.

LARISSAtheBRAVE

Correction: Her eyes aren't green, although the light may make it look that way. Her eyes are golden throughout the whole Volturi scene.

Other mistake: The first ten minutes of the film you can see where the make-up stops at the top left of Bella's hairline.

Bella Cullen: I thought we would be safe forever. But "forever" isn't as long as I'd hoped.

Chosen answer: It's because it's a computer generated image. Renesmee, Edward and Bella's daughter, grows almost three times as fast as a normal human child would, maturing in about seven years. To achieve the effect, a young actress was used for the motion capture and the as the framework for what Renesmee would look like at various stages of her development. CGI effects have come a long way, but it's still imperfect and can look unnatural.
