Continuity mistake: Jennifer Lopez arrests a man by putting her gun to his head as he lies on the floor. She then gets a pair of handcuffs from her purse, cuffs him and pulls him to his feet. Her gun has now vanished.

Jack Foley (Clooney) and Maurice Miller's (Cheadle) crew break in to Richard Ripley's (Brooks) house to steal his uncut diamonds. Jack finds them at the bottom of a fish tank. Jack tells Buddy (Rhames) to take them and leave while he stays and rescues Ripley and his maid, Midge (Allen) from Maurice and his crew. Jack kills Maurice's brother-in-law Kenneth (Washington), and White Boy Bob trips on some stairs with a gun in his hand and shoots himself in the head. Maurice and Jack fight until Karen Cisco (Lopez) intervenes and kills Maurice. She tries to arrest Jack without harming him, but Jack refuses to go back to Glades or any place it. So Karen shoots him in the leg, to apprehend him. Buddy gets away with the diamonds.Karen accompanies Jack as he is escorted down to Miami, she gives him his lighter to play with. Jack shares the van with Hejira Henry (Jackson), who has escaped from prison nine times. They talk about why they were put in the same van. Jack sits on the idea that on the long trip down, they both have enough interesting stories to tell. Karen smiles.

Trivia: The mug shot of George Clooney is the same one that was used in "From Dusk 'Til Dawn."
Question: When Karen is being questioned by her superior in the hospital, he has her written report. But, when did she have time to write it? She met Foley, got thrown in the trunk, got into an accident, then went to the hospital.

Answer: Movies tend to gloss over realistic details and compress events to tell the story. It is possible she dictated it into a recorder and someone transcribed it into a written report.
