Visible crew/equipment: When inspector Javert returns to the barricade after spying on the French Armies, you see a shot of a whole section of the barricade on the left side of the screen moving forwards about 2 feet into place.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the "ABC cafe" number, the fellow who sings "they will come one and all" puts his hand on the arm of his comrade. When the camera goes to a wide shot a second later, he has put his hand down. (01:20:00)
Continuity mistake: The weather changes during the "Do You Hear the People Sing?" number, both of them. Wide shots show that it's bright and sunny but the close ups of Gavroche show that it's raining.
Continuity mistake: At the start of "One Day More", Eponine is holding Cosette's letter to Marius. It is crumpled and wet in close up but brand new and dry in the wide shot.
Deliberate mistake: In "Do You Hear the People Sing?", Grantaire can be seen hijacking the funeral carriage but when the insurrection starts, he is at the tavern with some girl and Marius acts like he wasn't just there. George Blagden who portrayed Grantaire didn't want to be left out of that great set-piece so he was allowed to participate and the director must have thought no-one would notice him.
Continuity mistake: When Enjolras is shot dead, he falls out of the window while holding a red flag with both hands. When he gets hung up, he's holding the flag with just one hand.
