Visible crew/equipment: During the debriefing meeting near the end of the movie, a boom mic is visible hovering over the meeting table. (01:11:40)
Other mistake: Near the end of the movie, when an Air Force sergeant is looking at the airfield through binoculars, the binoculars are up against his forehead, not his eyes. (01:23:00)
Continuity mistake: While Major Allison is piloting the X-80, the style/model of the aircraft differs in shots, and two different numbers appear on its body - FC-226 and FE-229, as well as four different tail numbers that appear on its tailfin - 62216, 70236, 70229, and 61226.
Revealing mistake: During the Mutants' escape, while they're attacking others in the Citadel some of their rubber bald caps come loose, and we can see the caps' edges over their hair/heads.
Visible crew/equipment: Near the start, when Major Allison walks into the room and asks Colonel Martin about the reservations at the club, the boom mic dips into view at the top of the screen.
Visible crew/equipment: When Colonel Martin stops to ask the sergeant what room Major Allison is in, the reflection of one of the cameramen moving around can be seen on the door's glass window.
Visible crew/equipment: When Colonel Martin walks into the OR while the doctor and nurse are examining Major Allison, the boom mic can be seen moving around behind the overhead surgical lighting, at the top of the screen.
Continuity mistake: After Major Allison's return, when he's in the OR with Dr. Richman he's lying shirtless on a gurney, but in Allison's closeup he's wearing a pajama top and there's a slatted headboard behind him - which is a shot taken from a later scene in his hospital room.
