Continuity mistake: When Nick gets back to the hotel room the robbers have left T. sitting on a chair, precariously balanced on the railing of the balcony, held back only by a bedsheet whose other end is stuck between the balcony doors. Only a small tip of the bedsheet sticks out right next to the spherical doorknob, but a few shots later there is a close-up where a larger tip sticks out and the doorknob is flat. Continuity mistake: When Nick and T. chase the two robbers to get their money back there are two tidy wads of notes stuck under the right sun visor. At a wider camera angle the money isn't there, but when it cuts back there are even three wads, and the middle one is rather crumpled. (01:17:45)

Continuity mistake: During the last car chase with Rig and Charlie, the climate controls on Nick's Yukon change. When the front windshield is being shot at by Charlie, it's about 2/3s of the way up, signifying a warm blend of air. When Charlie crashes and Nick pulls up and parks, just before grabbing the gun, you see the dashboard once again but the climate control is now turned all the way to cold. Also, during that same chase scene, a little red light blinks on the dashboard which suggests that the vehicle wasn't even running to begin with as GM uses these as a "security" feature and they typically blink when the vehicle is off. Other mistake: When T. jumps through the rear window of Nick's van he falls on the street but rolls the wrong way, against any laws of physics. (01:21:05)

Revealing mistake: When Nick tells T. that he wants to give the money back they start fighting. Nick's sleeve gets almost ripped off, but before this happens you can see that the sleeve is stitched on rather loosely. (01:21:25)

Continuity mistake: After the run-in with Nick, T. Paul and the other two criminals, T. Paul ends up shooting the tire of the criminals' car, and they exit, leaving the criminals stranded. The criminals end up stealing an English guy's car, but when they catch up with Nick and T. Paul after they've robbed Nick's boss, they are driving their old, beat up, and supposedly punctured car.

Continuity mistake: At the very end, Nick puts the last of Mama's mustard on his hot dog, but when he takes a bite, there is no mustard on it.

Factual error: In the scene where Martin Lawrence robs the gas station, the attendant runs out and shoots off the side-view mirror with a shotgun. Notice that the gun blast does no other damage. Not possible with that type of weapon as evidenced by the huge hole blasted in the back window of Nick's SUV only minutes later in the chase.

Continuity mistake: Nick's shoes catch on fire about half way through the movie. At the end of the movie when Nick and Terrance face off against Charlie and the other guy (from Platoon), his shoes are fine.

Other mistake: The tape of Nick and Terrance's robbery is being reviewed, and somehow no one recognizes Nick's voice, his build, or the suit he has on.

Continuity mistake: Nick gets a bullet graze to his arm, yet there's no tear on the sleeve.

Continuity mistake: When Nick is with the woman from the bar, she rips his shirt open and buttons go flying. When he goes back home to his wife, his shirt is buttoned up.

Continuity mistake: When Nick is fighting with T at the diner, the dog in the background is constantly looking in opposite directions between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Nick is carjacked at the start, he drives through a red light. This turns to green before he reaches halfway across the junction. But cars still come from left and right.

Other mistake: In the scene where the two criminals try to rob Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence, Tim is outside the car and a split second later he is sitting in the passenger seat.

Other mistake: In the scene where Tim Robbins confronts the two criminals to regain the money, he manages to shoot the gun out of the criminal's hand with a shotgun and inflict no other damage.

Continuity mistake: When Nick and Terrance are fighting to get the extra credit card outside the restaurant, you can see a dog looking at something off screen. The next shot, it's head is in a completely different direction.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning Martin Lawrence puts a chrome snub nose .38 to Tim Robbins' head to rob him, then throughout the rest of the movie the same .38 Special gun is miraculously black. You can see this when Tim Robbins accidentally robs the gas station clerk who pulled a chrome shotgun because he thought he was there to rob the store.

T. Paul: That mask sweaty?
Nick Beam: I think that's the one.
T. Paul: I hid it behind my balls. Ha ha.
