Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (2010) is a horror film based upon a movie in 1973 about a young girl Sally (Bailee Madison) who moves into a scary old house inhabited by tiny, terrible Tooth Fairy-like beasts. Nobody believes her until they grow increasingly aggressive toward her, her parents (Guy Peirce and Kate Holmes) and others. Effective and creepy, the story is only hamstrung by its jump-scares.

Other mistake: Kim is putting Sally back in her own bed at night to sleep however the window shows daylight. (00:47:56)
