Factual error: When the Sherriff dies, one of the college kids picks up the Sheriff"s gun and shoots himself accidentally, then Chad picks up the gun and fires eleven more times. The gun is a revolver, which only holds six rounds.
Continuity mistake: When Dale is shooting the nail gun at the kids covering behind the Sheriff's jeep, close up shots show the projectiles hitting/shredding the grill and smashing the right side headlight. A couple scenes later the grill and headlight are intact.
