Continuity mistake: When Sidney is in the bed in the bedroom at Esme's flat, you can seen on the cabinet next to the bed there is a glass in front of the photograph of Gripper Burke. But when Esme comes into the bedroom with Sidney's drink, the glass has been replaced by a small silver ashtray.
Continuity mistake: When Mr Bedsop is putting on his fake beard at the photograph booth, you can see there is nothing behind the policeman in the mirror. In the next shot, the policeman is in front of a confectionery machine, and when we return to Mr Bedsop, the machine has gone again.
Continuity mistake: When the bartender says "Some blokes have all the luck!" after Bertram and Sally leave the cocktail bar, there are two sets of glasses in front of him on the counter. But when Sidney Bliss enters the bar and comes to the counter in the next shot, there is now only one set of glasses.
Continuity mistake: When the bartender is talking to Sally Martin at the cocktail bar, there is a decanter near the wall on the counter. But when Bertram Muffet enters and sees Sally, the decanter is now by some glasses.
Continuity mistake: When Sophie says "I'll fix you, Sidney Bliss!" when Sidney goes out of the Wedded Bliss Agency, her right hand is by the "Private" door. In the next shot, she can be seen taking her right hand off the wall.
Continuity mistake: When Mr Philpot attempts to shake Jenny's hand at the Grubb's house, there is a man behind them who is holding his cup above the saucer. In the next shot, he now has the cup on the saucer.
Continuity mistake: When Mr Philpot is sitting down next to the Bishop on the train, the Bishop can be seen folding up his newspaper. In the next shot, the newspaper is now open and he is reading it again.
Continuity mistake: When Jacki Piper throws a cream pie at the girl who is kissing her boyfriend under the table during the food fight towards the end of the film, the left side of Jacki's face is completely clear. But when we see Jacki a few seconds later, she now has cream on the left side of her face.
Continuity mistake: When Sid James sprays champagne down the front of Hattie Jacques' top during the food fight sequence, you can see that Hattie is holding up her glass of champagne but in the next shot she is resting the glass on the table.
Continuity mistake: When Bertram Muffet tells Sidney Bliss that his main hobby is making model aeroplanes, the way Sidney holds his pen changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Jenny Grubb tells Sally Martin about her job in the sausage factory, she is pointing her finger when she says "putting it in", but in the next shot she has her hand on her handbag.
Revealing mistake: When Gripper Burke grabs hold of Bertram Muffet and spins him around at Esme Crowfoot's flat, you can see that it is not Richard O'Callaghan but his stunt double.
Continuity mistake: When Esme tells Sidney about Gripper Burke going to America, you can see that Sidney is holding his glass of champagne in front of his face but in the next shot he is holding it much further down.
Continuity mistake: When Bertram Muffet enters the telephone box where the boy and girl are kissing, you can see that the girl is right in front of him when he comes in, but in the next shot she is now facing the window.
Revealing mistake: When Charles Hawtrey looks under the toilet door and sees a man and woman kissing, you can see that the cubicle is empty.
Continuity mistake: When Mr Philpot sits on the saucer and breaks it at the Grubb's home, you can see that Jenny is kneeling on the floor picking up the sugar cubes, but in the next shot she is suddenly standing up.
Continuity mistake: When the bus conductor goes to the couple who are kissing on the bus, the girl's hand is initially on the boy's right arm. In the next shot her hand is on his left shoulder, and in the shot after that, it is back on his right arm again.
Continuity mistake: When the violinist is hit in the face by a cream pie during the food fight sequence, his face is covered in cream, but when he hits the pianist with his violin a couple of shots later, the cream around his face is completely different.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the food fight sequence, Sophie pushes a cream pie into Sid's face and you can see his face is covered in cream. When he watches Sally and Esme fighting later on, the cream at the bottom of his face has been wiped off, but when he is attacked by Gripper Burke later on, the cream is back again.
Continuity mistake: When Adrian is hit in the face by a cream pie during the food fight towards the end of the film, you can see that he is standing in front of a window but in the next shot the window is nowhere to be seen.
