Factual error: When Paul hits Annie in the head with the 15 pound typewriter, she is only incapacitated for 2 or so seconds and has no bruising or bleeding on her face. One would think a typewriter this heavy would at least cause some type of injury to her face, such as bruising or bleeding to her face and would incapacitate her for longer than 2 few seconds.
Misery (1990)
1 factual error - chronological order
Directed by: Rob Reiner
Starring: Kathy Bates, James Caan, Richard Farnsworth, Frances Sternhagen
Revealing mistake: During the big fight scene, just as Annie Wilkes falls to the floor and hits her head on the typewriter, the actress is replaced by a really bad looking Kathy Bates dummy!
Annie Wilkes: Now the time has come. I put two bullets in my gun. One for me, and one for you. Oh darling, it will be so beautiful.
Trivia: In the book Annie kills the young cop with her lawnmower. It was left out of the movie because the director didn't want the audience to hate the actress Kathy Bates, which is also why he had her use a sledgehammer instead of cutting off his feet.

Answer: Stephen King doesn't have a cameo in this movie.
I have been told it's a common misconception that Stephen King regularly does cameos.
