While chasing down a criminal, NYPD James Edwards, realises the guy is not really just a guy. He is taken out by Agent K and told to show up for a test the next day. When he arrives, he is there among many men from all branches of the military. He is quick witted in all the test and when confronted with the shooting range, is the only one to correctly identify the target. He is taken under the wing of Agent K, one of the best agents of the Men in Black. Meanwhile a bug has landed and taken the body of a human man, he hijacks a exterminator truck and heads off to find a universe. He kills the two ambassadors protecting it and steals diamonds instead of the universe. The bodies go to the morgue where Dr. Laurel Weaver, discovers that they are not aliens. After much chasing around, they find the universe around the collar of one of the ambassador's cat, Orion. The bug steals it and tries to escape, J, K and Dr. L all destroy the alien and save the universee. Laurel becomes J's new partner when K retires and neuralyzes himself so he can live with his wife.
Kay: Imagine a giant cockroach with unlimited strength, a massive inferiority complex and a really short temper is tear assing around Manhattan in a brand new Edgar-suit. That sound like fun?
Trivia: In many European countries, as in Spain and France, since Dennis Rodman's weirdness isn't that well known, the celebrity mentioned in the last line of the movie as being an alien was changed to Michael Jackson. (01:30:00)

Answer: Yes, "the Great Attractor" can refer to a specific anomaly in the Centaurus Supercluster, but that is a far cry from saying that the term can only refer to that specific anomaly. It is completely possible for a high-tech prankster and/or performer to use the name "the Great Attractor." It's like saying "the Boss" when referring to Springsteen. The term means a manager over a group of people in a place of work, but he can still use it as a stage name.
