The Man with the Golden Gun

Trivia: Christopher Lee was said to hate the 'gadget' version of the Golden Gun (the one which could be assembled and taken apart on camera). The scene where Scaramanga kills Hai Fat had to be repeatedly re-shot because Lee kept having problems with getting the various pieces of his weapon to fit together properly.

Trivia: In the original novel, Scaramanga used a gold-plated Colt Single Action Army revolver, along with a gold-plated Derringer, as his weapons of choice. Both get a shout-out in the movie as Nick-Nack uses a Derringer on Bond at one point; then later, Scaramanga welcomes Bond to his island by shooting the cork out of a bottle of champagne with a Colt SAA revolver, referring to it as a 'harmless toy'.

The Man with the Golden Gun mistake picture

Visible crew/equipment: When Bond tries to get the golden bullet from the belly dancer named Saheeda, some angry gangsters enter her dressing room. As they start destroying the place, you can see the crew in the mirror on the dressing table very clearly after one of the bad guys is knocked into it, nudging it out of position. (00:17:35)

Question: Does Nick Nack die? Did he suffocate in the suitcase?

Answer: Likely not. He's still screaming that he'll get Bond as the junk sails away at the end. Presumably, either he and Bond came to an arrangement after the film or Bond turned him over to the authorities. At the VERY end of the movie you see Nick Nack is actually suspended high on the mast of the junk.
