Continuity mistake: When Bulma and Goku have just finished fighting and begun talking; watch Bulmas' blue streak of hair. It's on the left side of her head throughout the conversation until goku says "you might need back up." The camera shows a close up of them shaking hands, and when it cuts back to Bulma, the blue streak is on the right side of her face. There is no indication of her moving it, and there's not enough wind to blow it to the other side. (00:26:25)
Continuity mistake: Chi Chi turns around after being hit by the guy she's practicing with; her ponytail flips side in the reverse shot. (00:36:00)
Continuity mistake: Bulma and her passengers are driving through a fairly horrid-looking green screen. They are proceeding along a street coasted with a fence. She takes a sharp left turn, Goku loses his balance, but the view shown has the fence already at distance. (00:37:55)
Continuity mistake: When the fake Chi Chi points the gun at Goku, her hair suddenly is all the way in front of her arm/shoulder, in a noticeable difference with the previous take. (00:59:25)
Continuity mistake: When Goku calls Fuller's name for "whacking my bike", extras are recycled, appearing both behind Goku and the bullies (super-easy to spot a girl in pink and teal, with her buddy wearing a blue varsity jacket). (00:06:50)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the sparring between Goku and his Grandpa, the clotheslines project clear shadows on the ground. During several shots during the silly fight (several from above when they flip around, or for instance the wide shot that follows the bug-eating bit) there's a total lack of shadows. Continuity mistake: After sparring and faceplanting into fruit, Goku follows Grandpa to his little zen garden. There was an establishing shot of the area by the training spot, shown once Gohan jumped on the ropes, and while the rocks and some gravel were visible, the little cement bed and greenery are brand new. Continuity mistake: During the Mai vs Chi Chi fight at the Toisan tournament, many different takes have been edited together, since the referees appear in semi-random positions on either side of the fighters. (00:49:20)
