Continuity mistake: When running through and marking trees, Rosalie's hair is flat and wilted. When Alice sees them stop due to James switching directions, Rosalie's hair is suddenly perfect.
Continuity mistake: When Alice stops the baseball game by saying "stop!" Jasper is standing together with Esme and Bella, but before he was in the field (we never saw him returning to the homebase). (01:18:55)
Continuity mistake: When Bella is at the hospital, the little plant by her left changes place. First it is under the lamp; later it is no longer under it.
Continuity mistake: In the ballet studio, when James is thrown backwards into the mirror by Edward in the first shot he is landing on his backside but in the very next shot he is landing on his shoulders/stomach. (01:34:30)
Continuity mistake: When Edward and Bella are out in the parking lot at the prom where Jacob shows up, Edward's hair is styled a little over to the side, but when they go into the prom his hair is brushed up into a bouffant of sorts. (01:44:00)
Continuity mistake: When Bella is telling Charlie that she is going out with Edward and he is at the house to meet him, her ponytail keeps changing position from hanging down her neck to behind her shoulder. (01:14:20)
Continuity mistake: When Edward asks Rosalie and Esme to wear Bella's clothes, Rosalie has Bella's coat on her lap, but in the next shot it is on the counter next to her, with no time for it to have gotten there.
Continuity mistake: When Bella leaves Charlie's house for Phoenix, the front door has the window blinds down when she comes home, then up when Charlie is looking out the door at her leaving; however you can see them when she slams the door going outside. (01:24:00)
Continuity mistake: When Victoria is leading the police and dogs on a chase eastward, she leaves her bare footprint on a mound of dirt, and her foot is pointed forward. When Charlie catches up and inspects the footprint, it is pointed at an angle. (01:08:40)
Continuity mistake: At the baseball game you see Carlisle standing in the background with a bat when Rosalie is "up for the turn." When Bella calls her "out," he doesn't have the bat, and then he has it in his hand again. (01:16:10 - 01:17:00)
Continuity mistake: When Edward and Bella drive into the Forks Police Station parking lot the first time as the ambulance is leaving, there is something red lying in the middle of the driveway, but then as they drive in again it is gone. (00:44:55)
Continuity mistake: When the waitress in the diner is giving Charlie his plate of food, between shots the white bowl of salad sitting on the plate moves from being right at the edge, to being in the center of the plate. (00:11:30)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where they are driving up to the police station there is only one bright orange paper taped to the door, however close up there are three (orange, blue, black). Also a potted plant mysteriously appears - when they are driving up in Edward's car you can see there is no plant on the porch and when Carlisle comes out there is.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, when Bella and Charlie first start talking in the patrol car, they stop at an intersection. Through Charlie's window we see a young man walking toward the four way about to cross the street and there is no traffic approaching. In the next shot, there is a rig carrying logs crossing the intersection in front of the patrol car, and the young man is nowhere to be seen. (00:02:35)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Bella and Jessica are outside enjoying the strangely sunny day, there's a boy in a brown shirt sitting in a table behind them. As they are talking, that boy remains seated, but when the shot changes from a close-up of Bella to a two-shot, the boy is suddenly standing up. (00:37:20)
Continuity mistake: During one of the cafeteria scenes, when Eric is talking about La Push, depending on the angle, Angela is either holding her camera up and is taking pictures or is resting the camera on the table. (00:28:55)
Continuity mistake: Different vampires have white faces but their ears and necks are normal color in different scenes.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, the cast that Bella is wearing keeps changing lengths. first it's just a couple of centimetres below her knee, later it is almost 10 cm below her knee. (01:42:30)
Continuity mistake: On Bella's first day of school, when Eric comes up and introduces himself, Tyler passes them, going the opposite way, and looks at Bella. But in the last scene he was sitting at his car, making no move to leave, let alone go back to the parking lot. (00:06:25)
Suggested correction: He could easily come through another exit.
