Continuity mistake: In the first Hellboy movie, when they first show the BPRD headquarters, it reads "Newark, New Jersey". In Hellboy II, they show what is clearly the same highly distinctive building, but it now reads "Trenton, New Jersey".

Princess Nuala kills herself so that her brother, Prince Nuada, dies (since they are linked) before he can take the crown again after Hellboy defeats him. Before dying, the prince tells Hellboy (Ron Perlman) that he must choose to live either as a human or as a demon. Abe (Doug Jones) tells the princess, before she dies, how he feels about her. Liz (Selma Blair) melts the crown that controls the Golden Army and the army is destroyed. Hellboy, Liz, Abe and Johann Krauss quit from the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense. Liz tells Hellboy that she's pregnant with two babies and not one...
