Continuity mistake: At the start, when Annabelle and her father drive past the schools front gate, the trees are in full bloom, covered in white flowers. Yet in the next shot from behind the car, the trees are bare. Then when Flash drives up to the front gate, the flowers are back, but in following shots the flowers are gone again. (00:01:35)
Continuity mistake: When Kelly and Annabelle are walking toward Annabelle's bed, Andrea is walking behind them, and as Annabelle says "Goths, " Andrea is standing right beside her. Yet in the next shot, Andrea is lying on her bed, just as someone says "We're not Goths, we're Emos." (00:08:40)
Continuity mistake: When the girls are taking bets on how long Annabelle will last, the one writing on the blackboard is wearing a top with a small dark design and she is holding a pen in her right hand together with the chalk. However, in the close-up the pen has vanished and the sleeve is entirely different - the dark design is gone and instead there is a light pink design. (00:09:10)
Continuity mistake: When Kelly shows Annabelle to her bed, the girls are taking bets on how long Annabelle will last, and the writing on the blackboard completely changes in the close-up. (00:09:10)
Continuity mistake: After Kelly has shown Annabelle to her bed, in the close-up the girl writing on the blackboard crosses out the zero and writes a five under it. Yet that writing is gone just before the paint spills on Annabelle. (00:09:15)
Continuity mistake: When Annabelle is in the shower, the overhead videocam turns and we see its feed on the laptop. In this shot, as it pans the shower from left to right, the shelf is visible on the right wall, with nothing hanging from its hooks. However, a few shots later a girl removes the towel and robe that are hanging from those hooks. (00:09:45)
Deliberate mistake: When Annabelle uses her hockey stick to send her cell flying, the shot of the cell spinning in midair is a flipped shot. Note the board with name plaques behind the bust is backwards, and the glass amnesty box (for contraband) is now to the left instead of right. (00:11:40)
Continuity mistake: On Miss Dickinson's first day, when Matron hands the new teacher the glass of her latest concoction, the slice of lime garnishes the rim, but in Miss Dickinson's close-up the lime is floating in the drink, then it's back on the rim just before it's back in the drink once again. (00:18:40)
Continuity mistake: Anna Chancellor has her nails painted red during the hockey game. But there is one shot where her nails are not painted. (00:20:35 - 00:23:20)
Other mistake: Just before the Cheltenham bus arrives before the hockey game, Geoffrey Thwaites is reading The Sun. In the close-up the headline reads "Shot in the arm, new Minister for Education announced today", with a photo of Geoffrey beside it. However, the actual article has nothing to do with Geoffrey. It is about Andy Millman's temper, and how he verbally abused a Downs Syndrome child. Andy Millman is a fictional TV character played by Ricky Gervais in "Extras". The other two articles make no sense as well. (00:21:10)
Continuity mistake: When Geoffrey is reading The Sun, just before the Cheltenham bus arrives for the hockey game, in the close-up of the open newspaper there is a photo of Geoffrey below the large headline that reads "Shot in the Arm". In the next shot there is no photo under the headline. (00:21:10)
Continuity mistake: When Geoffrey, Miss Bagstock and Miss Fritton are standing beside the Cheltenham bus, the white paint splatters that are mingled with the red splatters disappear and reappear on the bus door, depending on camera angle. (00:22:10)
Deliberate mistake: At the start of the hockey game against Cheltenham, after the close-up of Janey sharpening her hockey stick, when Bursar says, "Okay, yeah, into position," his close-up is a flipped shot. Note his shirt's pocket and logo. (00:26:35)
Continuity mistake: When Bursar puts the whistle in his mouth at the start of the hockey game the whistle is upside down, but as it drops out of his mouth, after blowing it, its right-side up. (00:26:40)
Deliberate mistake: After Burser blows the whistle to begin the hockey game, Verity knocks him out with her hockey stick. The next close-up of Miss Dickinson and Miss Cleaver is a flipped shot, note Miss Dickinson's hair part and Miss Cleaver's red patch on the wrong sleeve. (00:26:50)
Continuity mistake: At the very start of the hockey game, in the shot just after Matron blows the whistle, the scoreboard is visible behind the girls and it reads "St. Trinian 1 and Visitors 3". It's actually four shots later that Cheltenham are the first to score, which then makes it St. Trinian 0 and Visitors 1. (00:27:00)
Continuity mistake: While Geoffrey is hiding in Posh Totty's room, Peaches and Chloe begin applying mascara to Chelsea's lashes. In Chelsea's first close-up the camera is facing her reflection in the mirror, and Chloe is using a short handle mascara wand with her right hand (we are seeing a reflection and we also see a bit of Chloe's non-reflection hand in the foreground). In the next shot, just before Chloe's cell rings, Chloe is holding the now longer handled mascara wand with her left hand. Peaches is holding her mascara wand differently as well. (00:29:00)
Continuity mistake: When the dour-faced bank man is awaiting Miss Fritton, in shots facing Miss Fritton the briefcase on his lap has its side zippers facing out, but in other shots the briefcase faces the opposite way with its plain leather side facing out. (00:34:10)
Continuity mistake: When the bank manager hands Miss Fritton the foreclosure notice, she is wearing a dark floral blouse, a black patterned vest and small pearl earrings. Then, when Beverly gives Miss Fritton the "red" and "blue" pills, Miss Fritton is wearing a completely different outfit and large mabe pearl earrings. She reverts back to the original oufit/earrings when she speaks with Carnaby. (00:35:40 - 00:37:30)
Continuity mistake: When Flash gives a lesson on crime, he asks for ideas, and the girls raise their hands. In the shot from behind the girls, the first girl he points to for an answer sits at the very left (his right) of the class, and we also see Taylors back as her hand is raised, who sits towards the center of the class. However, in the next close-up its Taylor who answers with extortion. (00:40:20)
Chosen answer: She wasn't in one of the groups (Geeks, Emos, First Years, Posh Totties and Chavs), she was an outsider. The girls later give her a makeover as each one of the cliques, but she ended up as herself and said she "felt like a St Trinian".
