How to Steal a Million (1966)
1 character mistake - chronological order
Directed by: William Wyler
Starring: Peter O'Toole, Audrey Hepburn, Eli Wallach, Hugh Griffith
Continuity mistake: When Audrey Hepburn, posing as a cleaning woman, is scrubbing the museum and attempting to escape to the guard room, she notices the large engagement ring and removes it from her finger. In the very next scene, where she is scrubbing the pillar and holding the bucket, the ring is still on her finger. The ring catches a flashing reflection as the camera pans away.
Nicole Bonnet: I feel like I'm going to faint.
Simon Dermott: Don't, there's no room.
Trivia: Audrey Hepburn's movie wardrobe was designed by the famous fashion designer, Givenchy. During the film, Peter O'Toole jokingly comments to Hepburn that the cleaning woman disguise she is to wear for the heist will, "give Givenchy a night off."
