I Know Who Killed Me

Dakota Moss is really the twin sister of Aubrey Fleming. There is a psychic link between the two, which inspired the character in Aubrey's story, and caused Dakota to manifest the injuries that Aubrey was sustaining. It turns out that Aubrey's music teacher is the killer, and her foster father sacrifices his life to kill him. Dakota then goes to dig up the body of her sister, and discovers that she is still barely alive.

Character mistake: The coroner examining Jennifer Toland's body reports that her fingers were cut off first, then the metacarpals (palm bones) were removed later. Given that when she is found her entire limb is missing up to her mid-forearm, how could he possibly tell not only that the missing part was not all removed at once, but which bits were cut off in which order?

Dakota Moss: So my finger got cut off. But nobody did it. Who's going to believe that? Look at you. You don't even believe it.
Jerrod Pointer: Yeah, I do.
[Dakota scoffs.]
Dakota Moss: That's because I fucked you.

Question: What's the symbolism behind all the blue in the movie?

Answer: Blue's the color for Aubrey's character, and the red one's for Dakota. If you watch the movie carefully you can notice that Aubrey wears blue clothes the most of the time while Dakota wears red ones. So it's just to represent the diferent characters and make the movie obvious.
