Visible crew/equipment: When Howard first pulls into the empty lane, a camera shadow is visible on the car.
Visible crew/equipment: Right before Turboman runs into Booster, the camera is showing his point of view. Its shadow, with wires etc. can be seen on one of the men moving the lift.
Continuity mistake: When we see Howie reach his hand to pat the reindeer, he is clearly wearing gloves. As the reindeer snaps at his hand, we see he is no longer wearing gloves.

Trivia: The parade scenes were filmed on the Universal Studios backlot in "Courthouse Square." The film's special effects artists then digitally composited in some elements of a street in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, where the film is set. The sequence took three weeks to shoot and involved hundreds of extras.
