Thorne (Donald Sutherland) is killed by Tania (Camilla Rutherford), and Maximillian II's nephew (Harry Eden) and others, including Jones (Robert Daws) return from exile to assume power. Doc (Ron Cook) goes back to being an opthalmologist and Pool (Marc Warren) makes a deal for a well paying, executive position. The film ends with Joe (Ralph Fiennes) in prison and his daughter Daisy (Miranda Raison) visiting him.
