Tamara (2005)

Tamara Riley (Jenna Dewan) is a quiet high school student who practices witchcraft and is constantly bullied by athletic seniors Shawn (Bryan Clark), his girlfriend Kisha (Melissa Elias), and Patrick (Gil Hacohen).

The only two students who are nice to Tamara are Chloe (Katie Stuart) and her boyfriend Jesse (Chad Faust). Their English teacher is Bill Natolly (Matthew Marsden), who Tamara has a crush on. When Mr. Natolly publishes Tamara's article about the athletes using performance-enhancing drugs, the enraged Shawn and Patrick corner Tamara and threaten payback. The coach has benched Shawn for the rest of the season for refusing to take a drug test.

When Kisha informs Shawn and Patrick about Tamara's crush on Mr. Natolly, Shawn, Kisha, and Patrick plan to play an evil prank on Tamara the following night. Shawn invites Chloe, Jesse, and video equipment worker Roger to a party at a motel. Patrick gets them two rooms. Shawn sets up Roger's video equipment in both rooms. Shawn tells Patrick he is going to the car to get some more beer but goes into the other room to finish setting up the video. Pretending to be Mr. Natolly, Shawn calls Tamara and lures her to the other motel room. Shawn films Tamara after she realizes she's been tricked.

Tamara ends up attacking Chloe, thinking she set her up. Jesse and Patrick pull Tamara off Chloe, but Tamara attacks them too. Patrick causes Tamara to bang her head on the table, killing her. A guilt-wracked Chloe wants to call the cops, but the selfish, evil Shawn threatens to tell them that Chloe and Jesse set the whole thing up, that they were fighting with Tamara when she fell, and it will be Chloe's word against Shawn's word. Shawn refuses to throw his life away and figures if they all keep their mouths shut, everyone will think Tamara ran away.

Along with Shawn, the evil, selfish Patrick also refuses to face the consequence of going to jail. Jesse and Roger are also terrified of going to jail. Shawn tells Chloe it's five against one, and he has a video to back up his story, indicating the cops will believe him instead of Chloe. Chloe reluctantly gives in, and they bury Tamara in the woods. Tamara shows up at school the next day, thanks to a spell she cast the night before. Tamara can now use the power of mind control through touching someone. She uses mind control on Roger, causing him to kill himself.

While Patrick, Chloe, Jesse, and Kisha believe Tamara's a witch, Shawn refuses to believe in magic. Patrick invites the four of them, along with other students, to a party at his house. Shawn agrees to attend, not fearing Tamara or feeling any remorse for killing her the other night. The evil Tamara shows up at the party and uses her mind control spell on Patrick, Shawn, and Kisha to get revenge on them. Chloe and Jesse take Kisha, knock her unconscious, and team up with Mr. Natolly to stop Tamara.

Tamara sends the possessed Shawn and Patrick to kill Mr. Natolly's wife Alison (Claudette Mink), who kills both of them by stabbing Patrick in the neck and impaling Shawn with a broken shovel. At the hospital, Tamara chases Bill and Alison, while the possessed Kisha kills Jesse and is subsequently knocked out by Chloe. On the roof, Tamara corners Bill and Alison. Chloe fails to kill Tamara with an axe, and the enraged Tamara's mind control doesn't work on Chloe because Chloe felt remorse for her death at the motel. Bill realizes Tamara's fate is bound to his. After silently telling Alison he loves her, Bill pulls Tamara off the roof, and they both fall to their deaths.

While Chloe and Alison mourn for Bill and Jesse, the still-possessed Kisha takes Tamara's spell book from the Jeep, hinting that Tamara may still be alive or may come back to life.
