Continuity mistake: After Norbit crashes on his bike and causes the old men to laugh, he gets up and has multiple leaves in his afro. After two simultaneous takes, they disappear, with no explanation - or wind. (00:54:15)
Continuity mistake: Just before Rasputia chases Norbit out of the house, we see that his shirt is unbuttoned and untucked, yet in the next shot (where he is running past the mailman) his shirt is buttoned and tucked in. Two shots afterward, when he gets hit by the car, his shirt is unbuttoned and untucked like it was before.
Continuity mistake: When running into the church, Rasputia's left foot goes onto the top step. The camera cuts and her right foot is first onto the top level. (01:06:25)
Continuity mistake: When Norbit is yelling outside to Kate from the basement, you see him glance over at the potato on the fork that has acid poured on it. However you can see there's more left of the potato's face than what was melted off a few scenes earlier.

Factual error: After Kate's wedding is broken up and everyone leaves the church and ends up fighting in the town square (using shovels, pizza oven paddles, etc.) you can see a post office in the background. The city and state say "Boiling Springs, Tennessee" followed by the zip code 87168. This isn't a real zip code according to the US Post Office, and zip codes beginning with "8" are closer to the west coast (i.e. in Nevada or Utah). Real Tennessee zip codes begin with 37's or 36's. Continuity mistake: When we see Kate getting ready to go down the slide there is a huge line of people waiting for the slide. Also Rasputia is at the bottom talking to Norbit. Yet after Kate gets off the slide Rasputia is next. (00:49:10)
