Question: At the end, when Julie gets to her new home, she taps the newly sold sign, then she gets her mail and goes inside. How does she have mail if she just started living there?
Answer: Also, we are led to believe that this entire ending is a dream sequence, not unlike the ending to the previous film. And, as we all know, in dreams nothing really matters. Also, we simply do not know how long it has been since Julie and Ray moved in. Maybe they just haven't taken the sign down yet.
Question: Julie and her friend knew that they answered the question wrong for what is the Capital of Brazil, but won anyway. When they finally decide to talk about that glaring flaw being a setup it's more than 31 hours later while they are in the Bahamas. Why exactly did they not talk about that glaring flaw before leaving the USA?
Answer: They never knew they got the question wrong until they happened to look at that globe in the hotel.
Answer: Just because they took a geography class doesn't mean that they remembered a capital of a country they have no connection to.
Question: Why did Estes attack Will with the paddle oar when he said "we're not going anywhere", and what did he mean by that?
Answer: I think that Estes already knew that Will was Ben's son. He had made a comment about a man (Ben) killing his wife (Sarah) in the same room Julie and Will was staying in. He also makes a comment about Will having his mother's eyes. So he probably recognized him. He also knew that the answer they gave to the radio host was wrong, and that proved it was a set up from the beginning.
Question: Was there any indication or hints that Will was actually Ben Willis' son before the reveal at the end?
Answer: I believe it was supposed to be a surprise plot twist, I don't remember there being any indication that Will was setting them up.
Answer: This could be any number of reasons: junk mail, welcome to the neighbourhood info, items addressed to former occupants, etc.
