Continuity mistake: When the girl is hiding in the locker recording what John Tucker says, she says a few things whilst the camera is recording, but later on when the tape is played at Johns party, we can hear what he said, but the girl who was talking whilst recording, her comments are not present.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film when Kate is apologising to John, the amount of hair hanging over her right ear changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: During the first scene where we see John Tucker, he is playing basketball. Between shots his headband changes from black to red to black again.
Continuity mistake: At the beach, when Kate's getting there, you can see her bra strap; the next shot, when she turns around, her shirt's covering it.
Visible crew/equipment: When John Tucker is going from the balcony, through the door, into the cheer leading coach's hotel room (when he has the red thong on) you can see one of the crew members standing outside on balcony as he is entering.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where John is climbing from his hotel room to Kates' room, they should be on the same side of the hall, since he is trying to climb from his window to hers. After he is caught, they obviously go into rooms on opposite sides of the hall.
Other mistake: In the beginning of the film, when Kate is talking about all of the boyfriends Lori has had, she says that her mum has developed a very mature reaction after each man. She has a therapy session and then packs up and moves. Just before, we see men coming out of the same house, not different houses as if they had stayed in the same place and not moved, like Kate said.
Continuity mistake: In the gym, when the girls are fighting Kate gets smacked in the face with the volley ball and she falls down to the ground, but in the next shot she's standing behind the girls, then in the next overhead shot of the gym she's getting up.
