Continuity mistake: When the little girl is riding on her tricycle past the monster house there is one "keep away" sign on the lawn. When DJ and Chowder first walk up to the monster house a second sign has appeared.
Continuity mistake: When DJ, Chowder, and Jenny are drawing the dummy with the cold medicine, before DJ walks in there is nothing next to the Nebbercracker house drawing except two trees. But, when DJ comes in, there is a dotted line going to the house, a drawing of the kids in a circle, and a drawing of a red eye in the doorway of the house.
Continuity mistake: When they go to ding dong ditch the House, there is a tree stump in the yard. When they leave and are up in their room spying, the stump is gone and it's there again when they go back. This continues throughout the movie.
Continuity mistake: There is one shot in a scene in the kid's bedroom where you can see the 'monster' house through the window and it appears to be much further away than previously. In the next shot, it virtually fills up the whole window area again.
Continuity mistake: When Chowder ding-dong-ditches the house, it shows the front view of DJ's house. Elizabeth's car is not parked in the driveway. However right after that, she leaves to find Bones and her car is in the driveway.
Continuity mistake: When Bones leaves DJ's house, he drinks out of the bottle and when he's done drinking you can still hear liquid splashing in the bottle. Bones did not drink out of it after that, and he throws the bottle on the lawn. But it shows the bottle empty.
Continuity mistake: Jenny rings the doorbell and Zee answers it. However, in some far shots you can see there is no doorbell.
Continuity mistake: When DJ and Chowder try to explain to Zee that Bones has been eaten by the house, DJ grabs a clipboard off the desk. In previous shots, that clipboard was never there.
