Visible crew/equipment: There is no invisible magic power lifting Christopher Lambert in air at the end - there are two wires clearly fixed on his shoulders.
Highlander (1986)
Plot summary
Directed by: Russell Mulcahy
Starring: Sean Connery, Clancy Brown, Christopher Lambert, Roxanne Hart
In the world two different types of people exist, normal people who died like a normal person would and immortal people who only die by decapitation. There are few of the latter, however there exists a war between all immortals. The immortals are fighting for the prize (which is unknown to them what the prize is). Connor Macleod a Scottish man is one of these immortals and fights the remaining immortals in the present time to see if he can win the prize instead of an evil immortal that exists.
Connor MacLeod: I am Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod. I was born in 1518 in the village of Glenfinnan on the shores of Loch Shiel. And I am immortal.
Trivia: I was an extra on the Highlander Scottish battle scenes and since Scottish weather isn't the most hospitable, all the extras got very drunk on whisky to keep warm. When you see the Scottish charge insanely, it's because we were all drunk, which led to us picking out the wrong weapons and kilts for the next days filming because no one could remember who had what.

Answer: You can lock your opponent's blade in there. It's good for disabling, disarming, and if you've got the leverage, breaking their blade.
