The Hollywood Knights

Factual error: When the tape is inserted into the player, "California Dreamin'" comes out of the speakers...not in October 1965. That single wasn't even recorded until later that year, with the album released the following year. Only albums and compilations were recorded on 8-tracks, and neither would have been on that tape.

Factual error: When officer Bimbeau is locked in the restroom, officer Clark shoots the lock eight times -- with a six-shot Smith & Wesson revolver.

Factual error: One driving scene includes the main characters passing a 1978 Pontiac Firebird. Another has the main characters stopped on the side of the road holding a conversation, when a 1970s subcompact Honda drives by. Neither vehicle mentioned existed in 1965.

Factual error: When Jimmy Shine is picked up by Dee-Dee, her 1961 Galaxie Starliner is shod with Goodyear White-Lettered Polyglas tires, which were not available until 1969.

Other mistake: Tony Danza inserts the 8-track tape into the player but doesn't push it in far enough to click in and work. He also inserts it with his right hand but then his left after a cut.
