Continuity mistake: After the dog is killed, Garfield goes out of the backyard. Left of him towards the door of the backyard, you can see the track for the camera.
Revealing mistake: When Garfield shoots an arrow at Cesar you can see stuffed padding under his sweater.
Continuity mistake: At the end, one of the boys hits Samuel L. Jackson across the face and his mouth bleeds. After a couple shots, the blood is gone. A few shots later, the blood is back, smeared all around his mouth.
Continuity mistake: After Trevor shoots himself towards the end, blood gets on Cesar's clothes, but in the next shot the blood is gone.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Samuel L. Jackson is in his house with the girl student that takes off her her clothes, you can visibly see the boom mike swing across in the top right hand corner.
Continuity mistake: When Trevor is going to ask Cesar if he knows who vandalized bungalow 86, Cesar's hat is frontward, but as soon as Trevor walks up his hat is backwards and it does this when the camera is behind Cesar.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Dave sits down next to Trevor he unfolds a newspaper; the camera looks at Trevor and then goes back to Dave and the newspaper is gone.
Continuity mistake: When Samuel L. Jackson is talking to the teacher in his house and she pulls out the rosary beads, look at her sleeve when the camera goes back and forth on her. Her sleeve goes up and down many times.
Continuity mistake: When Cesar is watching the Russian roulette scene in the Deer Hunter, the shots in the Deer Hunter are shown out of sequence.
Continuity mistake: After Stevie Littleton comes out of the restroom where he confronted Trevor Garfield for killing his friend, he goes and tells his friend Cesar. Look closely at Cesar's glasses - at first he has him covering his eyes then after some people pass his glasses are on the back of his head.
Other mistake: When Cesar asks Trevor if he ever seen deer hunter; when the camera goes on Trevor, if you look closely you can see Stevie kinda smiling.
Revealing mistake: When the guy wakes up with his finger cut off, it is most noticeably a prosthetic hand.
