Continuity mistake: After Ivan is turned from a bear back into a human, he is holding the woman's stick. Between shots the stick changes appearance and is obviously a different stick. (00:40:00)
Continuity mistake: After Nastenka's mother smears white face paint all over Nastenka's eyebrows, to make her look comical, in following shots the neatness of the face paints on her eyebrows differs. (00:32:25)
Continuity mistake: When Nastenka is tied up against the tree by the robbers, the amount of blue rope wound around her body, and the position of the blue ropes around her, changes between shots. (01:14:35)
Continuity mistake: The size of the fire on the coat rack, beside Nastenka, as she knits, instantly gets smaller between shots. At first it burns the whole pole, yet in the next shot it only burns on the very end. (00:03:45)
Continuity mistake: When Nastenka is at the riverside, she collects a bucketful of water and pours it by the tree stump. Between shots the location of the water lillies on the river changes. (00:21:40)
Continuity mistake: The bow and arrows are on a different rock to which they were on originally, from when Father Mushroom makes them appear, to when Ivan goes and picks them up. (00:16:50)
