Half a second later, a close shot on Chaplin shows the drummer behind, sitting down close to the drum. Back to a wide shot and the drummer is up and wild again. He doesn't sit down and calm himself until several minutes later.
Continuity mistake: During the checkers game, Chaplin's hand changes from under to off of his chin.
Continuity mistake: After Chaplin breaks the check and says "quite so", his hand is up; in the next frame it's down.
Continuity mistake: During the detective affair in the hotel, Rupert's hands change from close to his chin to down.
Continuity mistake: First day in the hotel. Chaplin hears the woman and places the palm of his hand on a towel. In the next shot it's on his chest, without him having moved it.
Continuity mistake: When the group of men arrive at the room, Rupert turns his head, but it's back to the left in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: In the cinema, Chaplin moves along the aisle and moves a girl aside. From a front view, watch her skirt and you'll see it's a different girl.
Continuity mistake: When Chaplin arrived in NY and exited the plane's door, the stewardess went in the plane immediately. When broadcast on TV, she waits outside for a much longer time.
Continuity mistake: In the club, the ambassador's position when reading the menu changes from one shot to the other.
Continuity mistake: The ambassador places his glasses to watch the TV twice.
Continuity mistake: In the cinema Chaplin makes his way along the aisle nervous and stumbling, but in the very next frame he is walking steady and calmed.
