Continuity mistake: The amount of whiskey increases in Eugene's free shot at the bar.
Frances: Blind Dog and Lightning Boy? Who the hell are you guys supposed to be?
Eugene Martone: We're bluesmen.
Willie Brown: I'm the bluesman, he's from Long Island.
Trivia: Willie told Eugene "Muddy Waters invented electricity." Muddy Waters was McKinley Morganfield's [4/04/1913 - 4/30/1983] stage name. Muddy Waters was from Mississippi but relocated to Chicago where he played/fathered "Chicago Blues" and was among the first to use an electric (trified) guitar. Due to how noisy the Chicago South Side was, Muddy need to "amp" the sound of his guitar. Like Willie told Eugene he needed a slide to play the Blues, Muddy Waters wore a slide. (00:34:40)
