The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Continuity mistake: When Edmund gets hit by the white witch, he gets hit on the right side of his face, but in following scenes the mark is on the left.

Grace22

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Aslan dies, after the White Witch leaves, Aslan has 4 teeth, (2 sharp and 2 flat,) but in the next shot, Aslan only has 2 teeth (2 sharp.) Nobody helping the White Witch ever pulls Aslan's teeth out.

Continuity mistake: When Lucy pulls the cloth off the wardrobe, a corner of it lands on her head with heavier side on her right so that for it to completely fall, it would have to fall either behind or or on her right. However, when the shot changes, it shows the cloth falling in front of her, not even coming in contact. (00:11:55)

Continuity mistake: When Edmund first enters the castle of Jadis and he is crossing the courtyard, the statue of Oreius is visible in the background, which should not appear until the end of the movie. (00:50:15)

Suggested correction: That wasn't Oreius. That was a different Centaur. When Jadis turns foes into stone during the final battle, they don't teleport to her castle, as confirmed later when we see multiple statues in the battle field. The cut to the stone centaur in the castle courtyard is simply a transition (albeit a very misleading one).

Continuity mistake: The unicorn that Peter is riding in the big battle scene has a horn, then doesn't, then does.

Continuity mistake: When Lucy gives Edmund the drop of potion that will cure his injuries, the cut on his lip does not heal. The potion should work on all his injuries, not just his stab wound. (02:04:00 - 02:04:49)

Continuity mistake: When the Pevensies enter Narnia, Lucy is seen in several shots with her arms at her side while Peter and Susan are apologizing to her, then her arms are suddenly behind her back to throw a snowball at Peter. She was never seen bending down to collect the snowball and Peter and Susan were surprised when she threw it at him.

Suggested correction: Right before she throws the snowball, she is seen walking up to them, so presumably, she made the snowball off-camera.

Continuity mistake: When Lucy first comes out of the wardrobe, it is snowing, and some small amounts of snow are on her hair, but, in other shots, there is either less or more. It keeps switching.

Continuity mistake: When Santa puts his bag of gifts down on the ground, we see that there is a teddy bear and a quiver of arrows, among other gifts, in the bag. In the next shot of Santa reaching into the bag, the bear and the quiver are now next to each other when there were many inches apart in the prior shot. (01:09:30)

Continuity mistake: There are 3 candles on the Beavers' tables during their conversation with Peter, Susan and Lucy. The middle one becomes significantly taller when Susan tells Peter that their mother sent them away from London to escape war. (00:49:45)

Continuity mistake: When being chased by the witch (which turns out to be Santa Claus) across the plain, the shadows change direction between shots, and in the close-ups there is more than one shadow per person.
