Continuity mistake: When Edmund speaks with the White Witch the first time, as he eats the Turkish Delight candy, the amount and pattern of powdered sugar that remains on his lips differs in the following shots, depending on camera angle. (00:31:10)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: When Edmund is eating the turkish delight, the shape/size of the pieces he eats differ, due to the bites changing between shots. (00:31:10)

Hamster

StopNGo & Girls

Continuity mistake: When Lucy, Edmund, Peter and Susan fall through the wardrobe together, as they stand there the amount and pattern of snow on Edmund disappears, then reappears, and changes drastically between shots, while they're arguing before they head off. (00:40:40)

Continuity mistake: When Peter finds the note about the capture of Mr. Tumnus he pulls it down off the nail, ripping the top edge of the paper. In a following shot the top edge of the paper can be seen fully intact, then ripped again. (00:41:20)

Continuity mistake: When the Pevensie children leave Mr. Tumnus' home they hear noises outside, so Susan places her hand on Peter's arm and Peter holds her hand. Just before Beaver appears, in the front shot, Susan and Peter remove their hands, but in the next shot they're back on Peter's arm. (00:44:50)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: There are 3 candles on the Beavers' tables during their conversation with Peter, Susan and Lucy. The middle one becomes significantly taller when Susan tells Peter that their mother sent them away from London to escape war. (00:49:45)

Continuity mistake: When Edmund first enters the castle of Jadis and he is crossing the courtyard, the statue of Oreius is visible in the background, which should not appear until the end of the movie. (00:50:15)

Suggested correction: That wasn't Oreius. That was a different Centaur. When Jadis turns foes into stone during the final battle, they don't teleport to her castle, as confirmed later when we see multiple statues in the battle field. The cut to the stone centaur in the castle courtyard is simply a transition (albeit a very misleading one).

Revealing mistake: When the Beavers and the Penvesies trek along the ice river, the Beavers drag their tails along through the snow, yet the snow is never disturbed by them. (01:03:35)

Continuity mistake: When Santa puts his bag of gifts down on the ground, we see that there is a teddy bear and a quiver of arrows, among other gifts, in the bag. In the next shot of Santa reaching into the bag, the bear and the quiver are now next to each other when there were many inches apart in the prior shot. (01:09:30)

Audio problem: When they're standing on the breaking ice, as Peter points his sword at Maugrim, Susan shouts, "Look, just because some man in a red coat hands you a sword doesn't make you a hero. Just drop it." In the very next shot (we still see Susan's profile, despite the side shot), Susan's lips/jaw are moving, but nothing is heard, which occurs just as Peter quickly glances at her and we also hear Beaver shout, "No, Peter!" (01:14:15)

Continuity mistake: During and before the battle between Aslan's and Jadis' armies, the red chin strap on Peter's helmet changes position a few times. (01:43:35)

Hamster

Revealing mistake: Aslan is carrying Lucy and Susan on his back to the battle and is running at a very fast speed. If you look at the girls' hair though, it isn't moving at all, flat against their backs as if there wasn't any wind. (01:51:20)

Deliberate mistake: Obviously due to the family nature of the film, but when Peter stabs the White Witch's henchmen at battle, the sword always remains clean, and never bloody. (This is a Disney family film and as such no blood is shown. Still a mistake, but there's the reason). (01:56:10)

Revealing mistake: During the battle scene, the White Witch clearly stabs Peter in the arm with her sword. In the very next shot the sword goes through the chainmail behind his arm, into the ground. (02:02:40)

Continuity mistake: When Lucy gives Edmund the drop of potion that will cure his injuries, the cut on his lip does not heal. The potion should work on all his injuries, not just his stab wound. (02:04:00 - 02:04:49)

Trivia: Before filming the Narnia scenes, Georgie Henley was never shown the set. To get a genuine reaction of surprise, director Andrew Adamson had Henley brought onto the Narnia set blindfolded. Her reactions to Mr. Tumnus are real, too. Before filming their scenes together, she had never seen James McAvoy in costume.

Question: A friend of mine noticed that despite it being winter in Narnia for a hundred years, no one's breath is visible. Is this a mistake, a director's choice (since it could've been added in post) or an element of Narnia (I am not very familiar with the books)?

Answer: It was never mentioned in the book or the movie that breath wasn't visible, so it is a mistake.
