Continuity mistake: Kelsey holds the newspaper about the Simmons' murder with both hands after Beckett gives it to him, but the next quick shot has Kelsey holding the newspaper with only his right hand.

Continuity mistake: Outside the Simmons mansion, Luther and Mrs. Maxwell are standing by the gate. Closeup shot of Luther shows a bush behind him, being blown by a breeze. The shots of Luther and Mrs. Maxwell show Luther with the stone column of the gate behind him, not shrubbery, and no breeze blowing.

Visible crew/equipment: After Luther falls down the chute then gathers himself, and looks across at the glowing flashlight on the moving rocking chair, the pant legs and black shoes of a crew person are moving from behind a desk in the background. (00:31:05)

Continuity mistake: Milo Maxwell enters the bank and there is a counter below a large photograph of a bank officer/founder visible through the entrance. Instant inside shot of Milo entering the bank and now there is a lady in a peach-colored dress and yellow hat at the counter.

Continuity mistake: After hearing the woman scream, Luther wheels his car around, stopping in the middle of the street. Interior shots of Luther show a lawn and flowers through his driver side window, when there should be the street itself.
