Continuity mistake: When Chelsea returns back to the house, she runs through the front doorway and the door behind her is still open. In the next shot, the door is closed.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, the car the characters take to the party has European plates. Later on, the plates are American.

Revealing mistake: When Jake "kills" Chelsea, and his phone starts to ring, the phone is blinking, and vibrating. It falls to the floor, and Jake reaches for it, when he does this you can see that the phone is not actually ringing, because the screen is dark and the screensaver is active.

Plot hole: The Hellworld website at the beginning of the film has eerie music and also Pinhead's voice reciting some of his famous lines from other Hellraiser movies, which is impossible; there's no way that someone could have gotten recordings of those moments in the past where he said the lines, so they couldn't be playing on an internet webpage.

Continuity mistake: After Henriksen is killed, Chelsea and Jake are shown driving down the road. At first there is no license plate visible on the rear door of her SUV. A few shots later the license plate appears.

Continuity mistake: When Adam's father starts playing with the box at the end, he has a just-lit, long cigarette in one hand. The shot cuts for only a second and the cigarette has burned down almost to his knuckles.

Question: How did the box get out of the cement in part 3 and into a pillar in part 4?

Answer: Not sure why you submitted this question for the eighth film in the series. But regardless, that's just a bit of what's called "retroactive continuity," which is a term for when a movie either changes or ignores things from previous films. Rather than having the box be in the cement floor, it was relocated to a cement pillar. This change was presumably just because the writer or director thought it would look more dramatic for it to be ripped out of a pillar as opposed to being just dug up from the floor.
