Continuity mistake: At the very beginning, Abby calls Elizabeth to remind her about the date. While on the phone, she puts a wooden spoon down near the sink. The spoon's position changes in the following shot. (00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: When David first sees Elizabeth, he sprays beer all over. At first, we just see a few wet spots up towards David's left shoulder. In the next scenes, his shirt is dry. (00:12:20)
Continuity mistake: When David goes to see his friend for coffee, watch J.J.'s coffee mug. From behind, the handle is on his left. From the front, it's on his right. (00:15:10)
Continuity mistake: When Abby is standing at the foot of Elizabeth's hospital bed next to the "ghost Elizabeth", she crosses her arms across her body right under her breasts. The very next shot, as we hear Dr. Rushton speaking as he's coming into the room, Abby arms are down in front of her with her hands clasped. (00:48:20)
Continuity mistake: Katrina is trying to seduce David and has just laid down on the couch by the window. Her top is at first partially tucked into the jeans. In the next shot, it is not. (00:52:20)
Continuity mistake: Katrina has just asked David where his bathroom is. Her thong is at first just visible outside her jeans. When she begins to walk away, it is a couple of inches higher. (00:52:30)
Continuity mistake: David has just received a call from the realtor that Elizabeth's family is taking her off life support. The antenna on his cellphone is either up or down throughout the entire conversation. (00:59:50)
Continuity mistake: At Abby's house, Lily places a cookie with 3 M&Ms, green, orange, and blue, on it on the plate in front of Elizabeth. The blue M&M disappears in the next shot. (01:01:55)
Revealing mistake: When Abbey grabs the knife and threatens David, David falls and hits the tea party table, sending the tea set onto the floor. As Elizabeth crosses to be next to David, her foot hits a pink tea cup piece on the floor sending it rolling away behind her. As a ghost her foot should have just passed through the object. (01:06:45)
Visible crew/equipment: A very large light box is visible outside the window when Elizabeth tells David that she doesn't want to waste what could possibly be her last night of existence crying. (01:09:55)
Continuity mistake: When Elizabeth is just waking up from her coma, there is an oxygen tube right next to her head on the pillow. This tube moves in the next shot. (01:19:15)
Continuity mistake: When David and Elizabeth are trying to find the street address 425, it shows the numerals 425 on a porch with steps starting up from the left side, making a 90 degree turn to the left and continuing up more stairs. There is nothing on front face of porch but the numerals, boarding and stair railing. After Elizabeth says, "Not really" the camera cuts back to the porch and stairs but now there is a light fixture and a window or door on the front face. Then we see David going up stairs from the right side. But when we see them leaving, it appears that they come down stairs that look like the ones from the first scene.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film when David first sees Elizabeth in his apartment, they both start screaming. The camera shows her screaming but then the angle changes to show the side of Elizabeth and she stops screaming, when it goes back to the front of her she is still screaming.
Continuity mistake: When David and Elizabeth are in the restaurant next to the collapsed man on the floor, David says that he's going to need a sharp paring knife and a bottle of vodka. We never see anyone approach David or place the knife and vodka next to David on the floor but it just is there when he reaches for it.
Revealing mistake: When Elizabeth tries to grab things earlier in the movie, her hand just passes through things. But in the bar, when she's trying to stop David from drinking, she's able to hold on to his arm/move his glass, so he can't drink.
Answer: In the end they are both standing in her garden at the top of the building. He asks, "do you remember me?" She pauses for a moment and replies, "no." And then she walks away.
