Continuity mistake: When Frank picks up Jack at the beginning of the movie, Jack is seen leaving the school. Right before the shot, where the kids touch Franks car, Jack is carrying his schoolbag over his right shoulder. When he opens the car door, he is carrying it on both shoulders. (00:04:50)

Factual error: The Audi A8 that Frank drives is supposed to be an A8L Quattro W12, but the W12 has long, narrow almost flat exhaust pipes, whereas Frank's W12 had smaller round tailpipes, and is missing certain badging on the trunk lid, suggesting it is actually a lesser model, maybe a 4.2 V8 Quattro. (00:05:20)

ElGiganteEscoces

Continuity mistake: When Frank tries to evade the police cars, with Jack and Lola in the car with him, his car's rearview mirror disappears and reappears repeatedly. (00:26:00)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: Frank goes back to building where the pediatrician's office is located, finds the security camera video and snaps the overhead photo of Dimitri looking over his left shoulder to face the camera. When Frank sends the photo to Inspector Tarconi, who is at the US Marshal offices, the photo of Dimitri is entirely different. (00:39:25 - 00:43:05)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: When Frank finds Dimitri at his residence, Dimitri is wearing two bracelets - a chunky one (closer to his hand) and a thinner link - on his right wrist. Either both disappear and reappear or one disappears and reappears or they switch positions, such as when he is hanging onto the back of the moving bus. The pinky ring on his left hand also performs a vanishing act. (00:44:25)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: When Frank is on the Jet Ski with the female, chasing after Dimitri, the red strap on its handlebars (with coiled cord) is suddenly attached to Frank's wrist in a close-up, then it's not again. (00:46:20)

Super Grover

Continuity mistake: When Frank is on the Jet Ski with the female, chasing after Dimitri, the chipped white paint on the Jet Ski's front hull suddenly has a perfectly painted surface in a couple of close-ups. (00:46:30)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: As Frank is looking at the effects of the virus, a guy jumps him and pulls him through a window. You can tell by the way that they both land that they are jumping onto a covered airbag. (00:51:20)

Thomas Ryder

Continuity mistake: Dimitri gets angry at Sonavitch and strikes him across the nose, cutting Sonavitch, and causes him to bleed. The blood only stays on his face, with none of the blood getting on that white lab coat he is wearing. Eventually Frank shows up and throws a knife, which he picks up from a table, into Sonavitch's left leg, as Sonavitch is trying to flee. All of a sudden there is blood on the white lab coat. (00:54:00)

RLN

Revealing mistake: When Frank is pushing Gianni out of the sinking plane at the end of the movie, the surface of the water can be seen, along with the reflection of Gianni's head on it. Since they are supposed to be pretty deep, this can only mean they're in a water tank. (01:18:00)

Continuity mistake: When Franks Audi does the big jump from the top of the car park, it lands and you can see the front of the car get damaged, yet in later shots the damage has gone.

Continuity mistake: The Audi car is missing its W12 logo in the grill in one shot. In different scenes with the Audi, there are two different number plates at the front (at least where the number plate were supposed to be: one with two "holes" at the lower end, and one without. Obvious that there were 2 different cars used.

Revealing mistake: During the garage fight scene towards the end, we see that the steel pole that Frank uses to beat up the bad guys bends while he uses it.

Scrappy

Continuity mistake: When Lola is in Frank's car, in the garage she doesn't have her seat belt on in the close-up. Then in two following shots she has her seat belt on. In the next following close-up, the seatbelt is off once again before she is seen putting it on.

Revealing mistake: Near the end of the movie, the car is driving up to the business aircraft as it is taking off. In one of the flashes of the aircraft, the engine reverse thrusters are engaged. This only occurs on landing. They must have filmed the scene in both takeoff and landing phases of flight, only intending it to look like the plane was taking off.

Factual error: After crashing headfirst into the water, the airplane is not damaged "correctly" at the end of the movie. The front shows little damage, when it should be crushed and the back has come apart, despite taking the least amount of impact from the hit.

Factual error: When the plane crashes into the water, both men in it should have flown towards the front of plane due to the sudden deceleration.

Revealing mistake: When Lola shoots the police helicopter, it is a noticeably poor visual effects job: the flames appear to merely be superimposed onto the helicopter, and it doesn't look as if the helicopter actually exploded.

Other mistake: When Frank shows up at Audrey's house, the cops are patrolling the grounds for security reasons. One cop sees that a glass pane in the french door has been smashed, to allow an intruder to unlock the door from the inside. But when the cop opens the door, we see that there is no lock, or even a latch, on the door.

Continuity mistake: When Lola kills the receptionist and doctor at the office, you can quickly see her bullets hit the window behind the doctor (at the end of the hallway) cracking the window up. Yet, in the next scene, when Frank is walking around, the window is not damaged at all.

Frank Martin: You really think killing all these politicians is gonna make things easier for them?
Gianni Chellini: That's not my problem. I was hired to do a job. I did the job, like you. Just... my pay is better. My hair and my suit, too.

Trivia: Was originally shot with an intended R-rating, though the studio subsequently demanded the film be edited down for a PG-13. Thankfully, the film only needed to be trimmed by a few seconds to remove excess blood and profanity.

Question: Why was Frank evading the police after managing to escape the bad guys? Couldn't Audrey tell them that he was on their side?

Answer: The police will just get in the way and slow things down too much. Frank can operate outside of the law and get more done and get it done quicker. Plus, they can't just take Audrey's word for it.
