Visible crew/equipment: When the zombified Tony chases Susie through the supposedly empty health club, crew members are seen standing at the left side of the screen.
Revealing mistake: The camera films Tony's P.O.V as he enters the sports club to kill Peter and Susie. As the camera nears some door, it goes out of focus, and then the picture refocuses.
Continuity mistake: After tennis, Susie walks to Peter and her hair is parted on the left and combed over to the right side. When she gets to the net her hair is now messed up and hanging in front of her face.
Continuity mistake: When Peter talks to the janitor while playing tennis, the way the janitor holds his broom differs between shots.
Revealing mistake: When Tony stops the robbery at the grocery store, he punches the guy holding the gun. You can see that his fist does not connect on this punch, but the robber reacts as though he had been hit.
Other mistake: The coroner examining the bodies in the tennis hall, he says that "lover-boy" is being "fished out of a swimming pool full of blood". But as he himself says later on, Pete was killed when his neck was snapped, there were no wounds he could bleed from. In addition, the zombie dropped him in a hot tub, not a swimming pool.
Visible crew/equipment: Capt. Tom Churchman gets attacked by a zombie and gets pulled into the ground. A red light shines out of the hole, and you can see the outline of the circular lamp that's used to give off the red light, as the fog is coming out of the hole.
Continuity mistake: After Tony is hit by the car full of those thugs and their 'sleazy babes', his position changes; at first he is lying on his side, then in the second shot he is on his back. His basball bat changes position too.
Continuity mistake: As the thug is escorted into the police room by the officer, the thug attacks the officer. The man to their right; in a white shirt, stands up to help them twice.
Continuity mistake: As Peter and Suzie play tennis, a ball can be seen on the court floor, on Peter's side. It cuts to a quick shot of Suzie hitting the ball, then back to Peter, and the ball on the floor has vanished.
Continuity mistake: Susie runs out of the hot tub in wet underwear, which suddenly becomes dry in a matter of seconds.
Factual error: The opening sequence is set in the 1950s, but there are modern school buses, cars, TV aerials, traffic signs, clothes, house architecture and style.
Factual error: Although set in America, reversed English reveals that this was set in Canada; as seen in the baseball game, on the scoreboard, the words "Park Harpell" instead of "Harpell Park."
Revealing mistake: When Pete is lying dead in the hot tub, he is also visibly moving his arms and legs, treading water.
