Plot hole: When the cop shows Pam the newspaper clippings they include what look to be fresh photos of the real Jason from the events of Part IV, yet no photographer is ever seen taking pictures of Jason alive in the previous films and most likely wouldn't live long enough to publish the photo. 7.7/10.One of the most underrated and misunderstood sequels of all time.Director Danny Steinmann was unfairly picked on here despite doing a good job.I liked the idea he had of toying with the audience"Jason is alive or has Tommy Jarvis gone over the edge?"If anything it should be looked at with appreciation because it's entertaining with mystery to it like the original.I wasn't upset it was an impostor because the killer had a motive similar to Pamela Voorhees' motive in the original. It should be looked at as important for it filled in the gap between Final Chapter and Jason Lives.A necessary sequel to help resurrect Jason Voorhees from the dead.
Suggested correction: The picture was taken from security footage at the hospital after killing the 2 employees.
It was never shown.
Anita: What's wrong? Hey, you okay?
Demon: It's them damn enchiladas.
Trivia: A fan theory on Reddit suggest that Roy Burns was possessed by the spirit of Jason Voorhees. There is some credence to this theory considering that the murders Roy committed would require inhuman strength, he broke down a solid wooden door by just walking through it and when he got hit by a tractor, he got back up very quickly. How he got possessed by Jason however has never been explained.
Question: Is Tommy supposed to be the "next" Jason? I'm really confused by the ending.
Answer: Yes, originally Tommy was going to be the new Jason. But the makers decided to go in a different direction for part 6.
