Mike O'Conner learns too late his fellow light house keeper and his sister's new boyfriend, Art Stoner is in fact a serial killer (who befriends those he slays and occasionally steals their identities). Art sees to it that Mike won't squeal on him...permantley. When Kate discovers she's now an only child...she shoves a blade into her beau, sending him toppling off into the ocean. Sadly he survives and is seen in the closing scenes now disguised as Mike...checking out his next possible female companion.
