Jubei and Dakuan take advantage of Zakuro's ability to make things explode and use her to blow a hole in the ship. Gemma and Jubei fight and Gemma meets his doom as he falls in molten gold and sinks into the sea. Jubei and Dakuan are the only survivors of the whole thing; Dakuan mentions how it's unfortunate that Kagero died at the hands of Gemma. Jubei says "we better not meet again, old man" and he continues to wander as a vagabond swordsman...
