Revealing mistake: When Lawrence gets punched in the face by Baldwin in the tunnel, the person who falls into the water is a double. (00:21:10)
Continuity mistake: After he met the woman who helps them, Stephen Baldwin is wearing a shirt over his shoulders. In the very next cut, it is missing, but it reappears in the next cut.
Continuity mistake: When Baldwin and Fishburne jump off the bridge after being chased by the train, the chain that connects them by the wrist goes from just a couple feet to more than 4 feet, (you can see that they are at least six feet apart, and sometimes before they hit the water you don't see any chain at all). When they are in the water afterwards, the chain is back to a normal chain.
Deliberate mistake: Practically all movies incorporate the name of the movie within the dialog. However, they must remember the English language and tense agreement. On at least two occasions, Fishburne says "Come on Dodge, lets FLED." If they were so interested in incorporating the name within the script, they should have named the movie FLEE.
Visible crew/equipment: There is one scene where two cops go into the bathroom to have a private talk. If you look at the edge of the screen and especially in the mirror behind them, you can easily see some microphones for about 5 seconds.
Factual error: The motor cycle race on two Ducatis: they race from downtown Atlanta to Stone Mountain. They are on a road called Freedom Parkway. It exists primarily to get to and from the Carter Center Library - it doesn't go anywhere beyond that really. In the film they race for miles to Stone Mountain, it's about 45 minutes outside the city, and to get there you have to take three different highways. They arrive on one that doesn't exist.
Continuity mistake: When the cop Gibson and a prisoner are fighting on a rock, in one shot you can see the prisoner with his arms up, but when they close up to his face, you can clearly see by the position of his shoulders that his arms can't be up.
Continuity mistake: When the Marshall is in a gas station talking on his cellular phone and he hangs up, you can see that he closes the phone's flip, but in the next shot, when the cop Gibson is speaking to him, he closes it again.
Revealing mistake: When the car at the end flips over, you can see a circular object underneath the vehicle, about the size of a tyre (very obvious in slow motion). This is the device that "lifts" the vehicle for it to flip on one side, timed with the appropriate explosion.
Continuity mistake: The bruises on Dodge and Piper's faces disappear when they are driving the truck.
Continuity mistake: During the scene before the bus explodes, the sun changes in every shot.
Continuity mistake: When Dodge and Piper save the kid from the truck, the sun changes between shots.
Character mistake: Stephen Baldwin is alternately referred to as Mark and Luke Dodge, without explanation as to which is his real name.
