Plot hole: Given the store's being bought by a retail chain like Kroger's there's no reason Bill's partner can't sell him his share in it, get half the price they're receiving for it then have Bill make quarterly payments to him. They could've also got the new owners to keep Bill on as manager as well as keep their employees or void the sale.

Bill is behind the slaughter spree, he snapped after learning he was to be made Surplus to requirements following the store in which he had been working in tirelessly for many years was closing down forever. By the end of a single night eight people have been slain among then one has lost his eyeball and his head, one was forced onto a meathook with the point emerging from his face, one got his head crushed in hydraulic garbage disposal and the most sickest demise...one died by having his head cut completely in two with bandsaw. After Craig and Jennifer brutally attack Bill in a phone booth outside the supermarket, the police show up and arrest them -assuming they are the killers! It is unclear of whether or not Bill dies in the booth as the police usher the two survivors away.
