Plot summary

(1 vote)

Ronnie and Reggie Kray are raised in east London, by their doting mother, Violet. As time passes, Ronnie's violent side takes over, and Reggie follows suit. The two become notorious crime lords who rule over the club scene. But at the height of their power, the brothers take different paths, giving the older crime lords a chance to reclaim what was taken.

Factual error: If you look at the band playing in the Regal Club the night the boy's mother first visits, the night where they first bring on the donkey, you'll notice that the drum kit used by the drummer in the band is, from what we can see, a 1980's Pearl kit, far too modern. (00:39:00)

Trivia: The Kray twins were played by the Kemp brothers Gary and Martin, who are not twins. The Kemps are the founders of the well-known British band Spandau Ballet, who were very well-known in the 1980s.
